Z-Axis Jig Series

A mid to rear weighted jig that requires very minimal rod input to create an enticing action.  The unique design allows this jig to be fished both slow pitch or conventional fast jigging with a few minor adjustments to the hook placements and retrieve style.

Rigged with BKK hooks, rings & splits, 200lb Kelvar cord and a solid thru wire construction, means you can have full confidence in landing that PB fish.

Slow Pitch...

The unique cut-out exposes the solid through wire construction, whilst providing an alternative hook attachment point for a more controlled erratic action.

Short, sharp twitches will impose a walk the dog movement, causing the jig to lay flat on the upward pause, before falling with an ultra wide flutter and sliding action. Don't be scared to throw a pause in the mix.

It is right after the initial pause where the fish tend to bite!

Conventional/Fast Jigging...

Pacemaker Z-AXIS jigs can also be rigged from the top or bottom eyelets for a more conventional jigging style. Simply move the assist & split ring to the desired rigging option.

Top Rigging will allow for a faster jigging style, keeping the hooks more streamline to the body. Remember to feather the spool for a faster fall or alternatively, let the jig fall on its own to create the wide sliding action.

Ready to fish straight out of the packet, means that you don't need to carry extra terminals or hooks or store in a fancy jig bag. Simply remove from packet, tie on and fish hard! 

Tips...

Apply a little pressure on the free spool to get the jig to rocket to the depths in high current areas.

Tie a loop knot to the nose eyelet when fishing slow pitch style side rigging.
